Selective Seconds 

What started in 2011 with a vision and big heart to serve those less fortunate in our local communities is now a thriving year-round business. Through the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Rose Church in Belmar, we can provide monies to assist the poor and those who find themselves faced with a sudden crisis. We do this without concern for race, creed, color, or ethnic background.

Selective Seconds sells high-quality, new, and gently used furniture & home decor accessories that range from contemporary to classic. The furniture is acquired through donations and from furniture vendors. In our home decor section, located on the second floor, customers can find unique gifts, one of a kind finds, and collectibles. The general public can purchase items, on average, for less than half of their retail value. In addition, Selective Seconds has a warehouse, which is stocked with furniture and home decor items. With an appointment, customers seeking specific items will be able to purchase furniture in the warehouse.
